PRC-786 Transceiver
PRC-786N Transceiver is mainly used to perform manpack communication
among squads and platoons in mountains area and jungles. Equipped with a 2.4m whip
antenna, the communication range can reach 5 kilometers. Its range can go up to 100km with a 15m
slant antenna and 200km with 44m dipole antenna. With a security handset, encrypted voice
communication can be performed on it. With an external modem, data transmission can be accomplished.
There is a built-in ATU to accomplish automatic tuning of every kind of antennas. It adopts aluminum
alloy telescopic casing, so it is moisture-proof, anti-fog, and anti-salt-fog. It has features of small
size, light weight and easy operation and maintenance. It is suitable for field operation.
